自行车 Glaciers 。 bicycle

About Glaciers

Glacier ice is the largest reservoir of fresh water on Earth, and is second only to oceans as the largest reservoir of total water, which hold about 69% of the fresh water on Earth. About 2.4 billion people lives in rivers valleys originate from Himalayas. Their livelihood depends on the melting of fresh water of Himalayas glaciers during dry season. Glaciers in Tibet area is melting at annual rate of 7%, like the turning point of our trip: Rongbuk glacier retreated 270M in the last 30 years. Glaciers area is one of the most vulnerable areas under tread of global warming.

Bicycle
Or any other form of human power vehicles, moving forward with ones own strength. It is faster and less tiring than walking and unlike driving a car; you do not burn any fossil fuel and do not give out any carbon dioxides besides your own breath. People of China are proudly saying: In 2009, more cars are sold in China then in America, more then 10 millions cars! They want to deeply bury the underdeveloped images of cyclist packing their cities streets. That scene is long gone, but we still believe bicycle is a good way of traveling which you do not need to rush ahead, just moving forward by follows your leg and mind.
